An Emotional Resilience Programme for 11-13 year olds (6th-7th class) navigating secondary school and puberty
If your child is becoming more withdrawn, struggling with new social dynamics, or feeling overwhelmed by the changes ahead—you're not alone. Puberty is hitting, friendships are shifting, and the jump to secondary school feels huge. Next Steps - Navigate New Challenges gives them the tools to own their emotions – before emotions own them.
While children may have touched on emotional wellbeing in primary school, this programme goes deeper – covering the essentials while diving into the real challenges of early adolescence.
Over a full semester, your child will:
-
Understand emotions, body signals, and how the brain works under stress.
-
Navigate Peer Pressure and learn to say 'no' with confidence.
-
Conquer self-doubt and silence the ‘Inner Bully’.
-
Use empathy and perspective-taking to handle conflict.
-
Communicate their needs clearly without shutting down or exploding.
By the end of the semester, participants will have:
-
A toolkit to manage the emotional intensity of adolescence
-
The confidence to handle peer pressure and complex friendships
-
The ability to communicate their needs to parents and teachers effectively
Small groups: Just 8 children per group.
