An Emotional Resilience Programme for 9-11 year olds (4th-5th class)
If you've noticed your child coming home stressed, struggling with friendships, or shutting down when things get tough, you're not alone. Their emotions are getting bigger, but their coping tools are still catching up. Friendships are more complex, and the pressure to 'fit in' is just starting. Building emotional literacy with Stronger Inside now equips them for the intensity of the years ahead.
While schools deliver valuable work in the Irish Primary Emotional Wellbeing Curriculum, many children need more time and practice to truly master these skills. Stronger Inside builds on that foundation, taking concepts deeper with personalised attention and a safe space to apply what they've learned.
Over a full semester, your child will:
-
Understand emotions and where they feel them in their bodies.
-
Learn practical techniques to shift big feelings like anxiety.
-
Explore how their brain works and why everyone is different.
-
Build empathy to avoid conflict and handle peer pressure.
-
Gain confidence in communicating their needs.
By the end of the semester, participants will have:
-
A clear vocabulary for their emotions.
-
Practical tools to calm themselves when overwhelmed.
-
The confidence to navigate friendships and peer pressure.
Small groups: just 8 children per group.
